The Company Shed Mersea- Fresh Seafood!
The Company Shed is one of the best seafood eateries and is situated on the lovely Mersea Island. It is a family run eatery run by the Haward family, who are produces of some of the finest farmed flat oysters. They deal with local fisherman who catch their produce daily. The Company sheds main purpose is a fishmongers, although they have dining facilities which enables you to enjoy a freshly caught Seafood Platter. The shed do not supply anything else so bring your own crusty bread a bottle of wine and come down and enjoy the fresh seafood. Seafood Platters are £8.50 per person. Lobsters and Oysters are available as well as a small selection of hot food such as Grilled Oysters, Tiger Prawns and Mussels.
